The Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft München e.V. was founded in the 1950's with the aim to foster and strengthen German-British relations in the field of culture, politics, science and economics, with a view to bringing the people of the two nations closer together by furthering mutual understanding.
The Society meets about once a month either at the Eden Hotel Wolff, Arnulfstraße 4, 80335 (S-Bahn station: Hauptbahnhof) or at the Internationales Begegnungszentrum der Wissenschaften, Amalienstr 38, 80799 München (U-Bahn station Universität). There are talks by leading figures in the academic, cultural, political and business fields followed by a discussion. The talks at the Eden Hotel Wolff are preceded by a dinner. |
